We proudly present the Great American Heritage, a brand-new collection by Hedgren. New? In fact, it’s a revised rendition of one of our visually most outspoken designs to date, and one we still see in the streets 25 years after its launch in 1993. The new collection adds modernity to the distinctive details and iconic design of the original edition. What’s more, the Great American Heritage is made of recycled materials.
Starting with new and improved blueprints, our models Quest, Crusade, Canyon and Ventura cater to those who wish to combine the practical benefits inherent to Hedgren with a casual appeal, making our bags much more than just a bag. A bold, yet playful travel companion, our new line focuses on durability, sturdiness, personality and adventure! No stars and stripes, but available in four striking natural colours closely related to the successful Great American.

MATERIALS
- The outer and inner fabrics used for the HGAHR collection are recycled and use 2 different recycling techniques. These fabrics are durable and do not compromise on Hedgren quality.
- The main material is 100% recycled nylon, made from fiber waste collected during yarn spinning. This fabric has the same satin and deep color rendering as our iconic fabric and is water repellent.
- A combined high-density polyester material is used at the bottom of the bags to give additional protection and resistance to our products. This fabric is 100% recycled polyester (RPET), made from recycled plastic bottles.
- The inside lining fabric is also 100% recycled polyester (RPET) made from recycled plastic bottles. It has a soft hand feel.
